[Click on Photo to Return to The Cabin Home Page] The Story. The Story. Jim had a deer head over the fireplace when we got it. The deal was we had bought it with all the contents and Jim was surely a man of his word. But he felt so badly about not keeping the trophy, he ended up with it. There's still a humorous plastic plaque with a deer relaxing in front of the fireplace from his stuff. I misplaced the big whisky ad with a big buck on it--framed in slashed bark. Very pretty. Louise had me put in the fancy yellow pine floor over the 50's vinyl asbestos tile which was breaking up a bit I have to admit. The duck is from Times Square, the oak rockers from a camp I used to have on a black river in South Carolina and the little kid's rockers are Quebec. Louise is always adjusting the mantel decorations.
The story about The Cabin (Jim's cooking) is continued on the next page.

Whether you're an experienced webmaster or just a novice surfer, you may have feedback or suggestions to help us improve. We well remember the visitor a year or so ago who complained about the unpleasant glare from the HTML default royal blue links. That lead us to entirely revamp our background and link colors, making them softer, more eye pleasing. And the Florida expert who warned us about frustrating visitors with blind links. We followed his advice and now carefully identify each link so visitors know before they "click" exactly where they're clicking to.
