Bed Comfort and Sizes. (A note about our beds.)
Double Bed=Double Bed (52-in. full, except 48-in. at Thoreau House.)
Single Bed=Single Bed (39-in. except 30-in. cot size at The Cabin and the loft at Sugar Camp).

The beds at Fourpeaks are quite comfortable, with high quality firm inner spring mattresses in good condition, the same quality as you would expect in a good hotel. The noteable exceptions are:
    1) The cots in the Kids Room at The Shed (one of the three buildings rented as "The Cabin").
    2) The cots at the loft at Sugar Camp.
These cots are a mere 30 inches with a cotton cot mattress on flat springs and are intended for kids or not too fussy adults.
    3) The two single beds at the Guest Shed (one of the three buildings rented as "Ridge Camp").
    4) The double foldout sofas at The Cabin (in front of the fireplace). The mattress is good for a foldout but not as thick (about 3 inches) as our standard mattresses (about 9 inches).

Whether you're an experienced webmaster or just a novice surfer, you may have feedback or suggestions to help us improve. We well remember the visitor who complained about the unpleasant glare from the HTML default royal blue links. That lead us to entirely revamp our background and link colors, making them softer, more eye pleasing. And the Florida expert who warned us about frustrating visitors with blind links. We followed his advice and now carefully identify links so visitors know before they "click" exactly where they're clicking to. Your comments or suggestions will be equally appreciated.
