Martin,
Richie, David, Rob, Dezzie doggie, and myself had the best time at Ridge
Camp. I was glad to capture all of us on one picture. The view at Ridge camp
was awesome, we spent a lot of time relaxing and taking in the view. I
exspecially enjoyed lounging in the hammock, and so did Dezzie! We enjoyed
the peacefulness of it all. We enjoyed cooking, we barbaqued some london
broils on the grill, they came out perfect. I loved the big frying pan at
Ridge Camp, we cooked bacon, eggs and home fries all in one frying pan! We
noticed a birds nest on the back porch of the guest house, the birds sang to
us every morning. We took Dezzie for a swim in the Ausable River, it was the
perfect spot to cool off. That same night we got some rain so we enjoyed
sitting on the screened in porch playing some parcheesi! Martin, Thanks for
everything, God Bless and see you soon.

weekend in June, probally 27th-29th.
Who_will_be_visiting_with_you: Me (Colleen), my husband Rob, and our elder
doggie Deserae
Your_Message: Basically to get out into the wilderness again. Away from
phones, cars, kids !! Deserae doggie loves the outdoors and she is very old
and this will probally be her "last vacation". We never can take her to the
beach or regular hotels, so this will be her vacation!! We will do some
hiking, Deserae enjoys the ride in her radio-flyer wagon due to her
arthritus. Swimming and river floating sound good too ! Deserae is a small
20 lb. good girl. It seems like I like the Ridge cabin the best.

It would be me and my husband, our little doggie, and my elderly father.
My father wants to get back to "the simple life" for a weekend. I told him
all about your place and he wants to go so bad. The camp we would want is
the Ridge Camp. We are trying to settle on a date and save some money up.
We wouldn't know if another couple was going to go with us until the week
before we go. Is that a problem ? My father has a bum leg and its hard
for him to get around, how far into the woods do we have to walk to get to
the Ridge camp ? What would be our approx. price for a Friday, Saturday,
Sunday with three adults and a dog (with the possibility of more people).
Thanks.
After the visit. "Thanks for being special guests (and for fixing the screens

Your_Message: Ridge camp was great! We found that everything we needed was
there at the camp. We actually learned that next time we don't need to
bring as much stuff as we did. Ridge camp had ample supply of dishes,
utencils, pots, pans, candles and everything in between.
The only thing I missed greatly was not having any paper towels! I really
enjoyed hauling the water and heating it to wash dishes ! The bath tub was
excellent! I finally mastered the hot water to cold water ratio by the end
of our visit. I actually took two baths each day we were there being it was
so relaxing ! Ridge camp was perfect...just add paper towels!

Hello Martin,
I responded to one part of your email today. I just wanted to let you know
that I plan on sending you an email and photos of our visit for the photo
guest book, it just will take me a week to get the pictures developed or
find someone who will put them on my computer to send. So I will be in
touch with that stuff soon. Can't wait to come back, we are talking about
coming in late August, early September.

Colleen--
Thanks for your email about Ridge Camp and taking baths there and
finding there are lots of dishes, pots, pans and more and you didn't
need to bring all the stuff you did.
Sorry. No. I don't supply paper towels. But I do make sure there's
(cotton) dish towels, sponges, pot scrubbers, candles, trash bags,
matches, biscuit mix, honey, and other extras. (I'll put a reminder in
FAQ to bring your own paper towels if preferred over cotton.)
Yes. Send photos. Lots. So I can pick for a webpage for you. Thanks.
Hope to see you again soon.

Martin,
The birds nest was on the back porch of the guest shed under the lip of the
roof. We noticed them one morning when we woke up to them singing. There
was three birds in the nest. I zoomed in on them with my camera, we did
not want to get too close and spook them away. I am not sure what type of
bird they were. Looking forward to web page. Have a good day.

Hello Martin,
Thanks for the road story, I enjoyed it, please keep me on your mailing
list. I hope everything is well with you and George. We were up to Ridge
camp in June with my little dezzie doggie. Unfortunately we had to
recently put her down, I miss her greatly, she was my best friend. Do you
have any poems or reflections for a loss of a pet ? Well, we will see you
again, we are looking forward to coming up again, we just don't know when
yet. Also, I was wondering how you were making out with our web page?
Take care and tell George we said hello.
Colleen

I felt bad hearing about Dezzie. And sorry it took so long for me to get their webpage done.
My template forms are now in excellent shape and (when guests are generous of their time and share photos with me) I am able to get them their very own Fourpeaks Guest Book Page in a timely manner!
