It was so nice to go somewhere that we didn't run into anyone, we were able to rest and let our dog run as much as she wanted to. Lilly was especially fond of having George visit and play with her. We miss him and the mountains! We are planning to visit again as soon as possible! More about their Fourpeaks visit: (An Email Exchange.) I can't believe how relaxed I still feel. I have plenty of pictures at home to send you. But most importantly, how is George's dew claw? I hope it has healed a bit! Lilly sure misses him! Glad you enjoyed your visit and very happy too to hear you haven't forgotten about the photos. Official "thank you" letter will be out tomorrow as another reminder! George seems OK and I'll look at his foot today. Maybe I'll stop in at the Vet tomorrow when I'm out. Too bad Lilly doesn't live closer. George could stop over and just visit for fun and play. Where is Dansville anyhow? Best wishes, Martin Subject: RE: Lilly sure misses him! Date: Tue, 10 Aug 2004 13:08:40 -0400 From: Trisha_M**@URMC.Rochester.edu> Martin - I am glad to hear George seems OK. Dogs are pretty resilient creatures. I walked out my door at 4:30am this morning with Lilly to go for a run and a giant skunk was standing there. I stayed still, and the skunk stayed on all 4's and just wobbled around a bit before running across the street, surprisingly, Lilly stayed next to me and just sniffed the ground to see what the skunk was all about. I couldn't imagine if the skunk were to spray us. I would have to call in to work for the next week! Dansville is in the southwest part of NY. We are an hour and a half southeast of Buffalo and an hour south of Rochester. We live in the middle of farm country. My dream is to live in the mountains whether it be Colorado or here I am not choosy, next on the list is Alaska. But what I hope to do is get back up there real soon with my Lilly! She is in a race on Saturday, hopefully she will don another blue ribbon! I attached a few pictures for you. I need to scan ones I didn't take with my digital camera. Hope all is well! I was planning to make a Photo Guest Book page from the photos (8) you sent earlier, but then I thought you said you had more (you, Damian and Christina inside the camp, plus more of Lilly and George, etc) so I was waiting to see what you might add. Eight is really enough but if you have more you'd like to add I'd love to hear about it now, before I make the page. Visit again? Remember the incentives! I'm keeping the webpage availability calendar pretty much uptodate. November is cold and wintry and empty but very pretty because of that. Early October of course is foliage. Best wishes, Martin (and George) Subject: RE: Your Guestbook Entry Date: Sun, 5 Sep 2004 14:48:56 -0400 From: "Trisha M****" p****@yahoo.com Hi Martin - So wonderful to hear from you. How have you been? plus of course, George? We are all in the midst of going back to school, working crazy long hours and getting Lilly ready to do 4 terrier races. Yes, I have other photos the real printed ones - I am unable to send. I may need a new scanner but I am trying to get this one functioning when I get the time. The ones I have attached are more of the dogs. I have some of the landscape but they don't look any different than what you already have on the website. It feels like forever since we were at your camp, I don't think we could even plan a trip back soon enough. Damian is being pulled to Jamaica for business and wants me to go also. We would be staying in Kingston, I look forward to the weather but that's about it. I will continue to push ourselves to get back to your camp! Take care!!
