It really was heaven! When I initially suggested to Tazio that we have our honeymoon in a rustic cabin with no electricity, she was dubious, but now she is sold on life in the woods! The utter quiet and beautiful views were just the beginning - we had a relaxing time we will never forget. It is so great that guests can bring their dogs - Roofis had the time of his life running all over the mountains! Plus George was the friendliest host anyone could hope for. Each day we took a hike, and each one was more spectacular than the last. You did an excellent job of marking the trails, which is a good thing, because unlike a state park, the trails don't look like they get much traffic. I was constantly amazed at how unused the trails seem - if it weren't for your blazes, it would've felt like we were just lost in the woods! We will definitely return to Four Peaks again, next time to Ridge Camp. We loved Sugar Camp, but the isolation and grandeur (and Sauna!) of Ridge camp make it irresistible. I can't wait! Thanks for everything. Todd & Tazio October, 2004 [Picture Descriptions] Hi Martin I thought it made more sense to describe the pictures here rather than in the text of the e-mail 01JustMarried - Moments after we got married on October 16, 2004 at the Brooklyn Society for Ethical Culture. 02cake - us with the wedding cake! 03sugarcamp - a nice view looking back from the trail up to Smith Road 05lookoutTrail - kind of abstract picture on the trail to lookout 06ToddandGeorge - relaxing back at sugar camp with Mr Friendlydog 07RoofisatDawn - with his favorite toy! 08Blueberry - Todd & Roofis on the Blueberry trail, on our way down from rattlesnake knob to Ridge Camp 09CozyCamp - Roofis and Tazio keeping warm! 10George - Yes, another picture of George 11PumpingWater - Tazio pumping water for a bath.
