    View of Witch Mountain from the summit of Rattlesnake KnobBrian and Kelley from Coventry CT stay at New Camp for Winter hiking and R&R. They follow the jeep trail to Ridge Camp at the crook of Rattlesnake Knob and the ridge to the West (far right in photo), then come around through the saddle between Ebenezer and Rattlesnake and bushwack the East approach of Rattlesnake to the flat, forested summit (2mi.). They get great views of Witch Mountain (photo below left) from the almost perpendicular West face of Rattlesnake.  [3/97]

     My girlfriend and I stayed 4 days at New Camp. It was not enough time to enjoy the stress-free atmosphere that 4Peaks provides. It was a perfect get-away from the phone, TV, and demands of everyday life. I have never been so relaxed. The land is beautiful and the views breathtaking. I highly reccommend you take advantage of the beautiful and peaceful life 4Peaks offers. I will return to explore the rest of 4Peaks in the Fall.--Brian, Coventry CT.

We well remember the visitor a year or so ago who complained about the unpleasant glare from the HTML default royal blue links. That lead us to entirely revamp our background and link colors, making them softer, more eye pleasing. And the Florida expert who warned us about frustrating visitors with blind links. We followed his advice and now carefully identify each link so visitors know before they "click" exactly where they're clicking to.
