  • The Oldfashion Pitcher Pump.
(A backcountry innovation that puts the water where you want it.)  Each of our Fourpeaks Backcountry Cabins is equipped with an old-fashion pitcher pump right at the kitchen sink. Guests pump water for washing from 7 gal. "mini-cisterns" located under the sink and refill them as needed.
Water to refill is nearby. Sugar Camp, Ridge Camp and Gypsy Camp have a well right outside. Guests at the other camps fill up at the Well House or at Camp Barn. A startup supply of water for the pitcher pumps is in place for arriving guests. Guests are requested to refill the 7 gal. "mini-cisterns" before departure. Our terms of rental: "Leave it as you find it."   CLICK & GO!  (On this page.)    Something wrong? Get help right away!   (On the next page.)   10 Best Guest Information Pages. (Quick Index.)

Whether you're an experienced webmaster or just a novice surfer, you may have feedback or suggestions to help us improve. We well remember the visitor who complained about the unpleasant glare from the HTML default royal blue links. That lead us to entirely revamp our background and link colors, making them softer, more eye pleasing. And the Florida expert who warned us about frustrating visitors with blind links. We followed his advice and now carefully identify links so visitors know before they "click" exactly where they're clicking to. Your comments or suggestions will be equally appreciated.
